Matix Holiday 2010

A little bit ago I shot the Matix girl catalogue for Holiday 2010. Not only was a it a ridiculously fun day of shooting, but I really like how the final catalogue came out. I also put my favourite shots in the fashion gallery.
AND, before I forget, Tanya, mastermind behind Matix has her very own blog-spiration. Totally worth a visit, especially if you’re a fellow fan like us of Freja and Kate.

As the Night Clears – InTandem Editorial

Back in November, Team Pièce de résistance did this little editorial for InTandem Magazine (starts at page 53) after getting a call from awesome fashion editor, Rebecca Teal.

The inspiration was that I’ve been reading a lot of Charles Bukowski’s poetry lately. Living in L.A, walking the streets of the east side, I see remnants of his words on empty streetcorners and in dirty back alleys. I wanted to create something that felt like the night after a party, when you wake up in your own melancholy and Bukowski is wispering disconnected words in your tired ears and it became “as the night clears.”
